A Sachse delivery & placement checklist

A suitable spot needs to work for users, delivery, servicing and collection.

Walk in from the delivery entrance

Check the approach from the street, not only the final position. Note narrow gates, overhead obstructions, turning restrictions and ground conditions. Share dimensions and relevant photographs with the provider so they can confirm access for the proposed equipment and vehicle.

Mark the position before arrival

Agree level placement, room for doors and a clear pedestrian approach. Keep facilities away from vehicle routes, loading areas and access that must remain open. Discuss lighting, handwashing and accessible equipment with the responsible site contact. Get permission from the property or venue representative.

Keep the service route usable

Consider where vehicles, fencing and materials will move as the site becomes busy. A route clear on delivery day can be blocked a week later. Name someone who checks the area and reports changing access or use. Do not relocate units without the provider’s agreement.

Prepare for the final collection

Confirm the collection window and who will open the gate. Clear the approach and tell the provider about any new obstacles. If the equipment is still needed, arrange an extension before the planned pickup rather than assuming the rental continues automatically.
